If you workout, limit the amount of time you spend on the gym. Follow a strict diet plan, and lose the extra weight slowly. Doctors recommend losing one to three pounds a week for a woman. For men, a fitness program is a great way to stay in shape.

As much as possible, try to avoid situations, such as having foods that are high in calories, fats and sugar. It is best to stick to lighter foods when it comes to eating habits. The same goes for any other fun activities. If you want to do an activity that is more strenuous, wait until you have recover from the initial pain.
